About the Participation Programme
The Participation programme aims to instigate dialogue and exchange through art making, and to work with local groups and organisations to widen access to contemporary art. It does this through projects, workshops and events that provide opportunities for local audiences to work alongside London based and international visiting artists. The main focus of this activity is through the long running Even Better Together programme.
There are currently three main areas of focus within Even Better Together. These include an on-going series of projects devised by artists with locally based organisations, the intergenerational Peer-Group of families and local residents who meet every six weeks to develop projects together, and the Multiple Voices forum that provides a meeting point and informal forum for the different collaborators of Even Better Together to come together work alongside each other.
