Duke Riley

(USA)

8 October 2012 - 23 December 2012

Duke Riley was born in Boston, Massachusetts and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Due to unforseen circumstances, Duke Riley had to return to New York and was unable to complete his residency.

Duke Riley will spend his residency producing new works on paper, relating to The Rematch, a project realised in Shanghai in spring 2012. The Rematch re-staged the mythological race that determined the order of the Shengxiao (the Chinese zodiac) and featured twelve gondolas carrying real-life animals representing each of the signs of the zodiac.
