This salon invites three queer Black artists from different generations to engage in a conversation about their relative practices, experiences and thoughts about queer Black art in the UK. Evan Ifekoya, Ajamu and Rene Matić will consider ways to work together, and to be together, across perceived generational lines. The concept for this conversation stems from Ifekoya’s thinking around abundance; that queer Black artists have all they need in terms of an abundant artistic archive and creative legacy to draw from, and should work from this place as opposed to from a place of scarcity or lack.

This event accompanies Evan Ifekoya's first solo exhibition in London, Ritual Without Belief. It is part of the public programme produced by Rabz Lansiquot.

The exhibition continues until 2 September 2018.
